Can't Delete Windows Apps Folder

I would like to get access to the WindowsApps folder in Program Files. I am the administrator on the computer. When I try to access the folder I am directed to the security tab. I have changed ownership of the folder from TrustedInstaller to me as the administrator. I still can't change the permissions on the folder. I would like "Full Control" of the folder so I can delete many of the unused apps (i.e. the encyclopedia). I am using Windows 8. Thanks
