I have a small network with a Windows SBS 2003 DC. I currently run
roaming profiles with the profiles directed to a separate partition on
the SBS box. I purchase a second server to run as a terminal server.
TS is installed and I can remote to it with RDC. My staff can remote
to it using RDC as well but it pulls there current user profile. I
want to direct TS users to a separate folder to store their TS
Profiles.
On a separate partition, I created a folder called TS Profile. I
enabled sharing on it. I created a test user in AD, and on its TS
Profiles tab, I entered the path to the TS Profile folder. When I test
logging on the the TS as test user, it cannot locate the roaming
profile and continues to create a temporary profile. I don't know if
this is a permissions issue or a GPO, or what.
Any ideas?
