I've installed multiple Windows Server 2003 servers. All have immediately
displayed in Entire Network. One particular machine refuses to show. Have
checked all DNS settings, netbios over TCPIP - nothing seems different than
any other install. Can anyone offer something I can check? I'm out of options
at this point...
Is it in a different subnet located? Then you need a WINS server in each
subnet. Can be that not all machines are displayed in network neighbourhood.

A single subnet - WINS server configured on the single 2003 SMB server. That
isn't it but thanks...

I know this sounds silly but.... is there an entry for the 2003 SMB server
in WINS?
Can you browse the SMB server from Windows Explorer \\nameOfSMBserver
Are there shares on it?

I am having the same problem, but with Windows 2000 server. I have put
Norton AV on it and I could see it on the network, but when I also combined
IIS with it, I no longer see it on the network. Any suggestions?
