I can no longer see my Cookies & Temporary Internet Files folders which
should be under C:/Documents and Settings/User and C:/Documents and
Settings/User/Local Settings respectively.
I'm running XP Pro SP2 fully patched. Using search under windows explorer
does not find the folders.
I have selected "Show Hidden Files & Folders" and ticked "Show protected
files"
However if I run a file search using File Finder from Power Desk Pro the
folders are found (at least they are still there!). When I double click on
the folder in the search window up pops windows explorer showing the folder
in the folder tree but not in the main pane.

Be grateful for any advice on this.

TIA

Peter

Peter,

Open IE | TOOLS menu | INTERNET OPTIONS | GENERAL tab | SETTINS button & check the path to
the Tempory Internet Files

Do you have the same path?
