So what could you not understand about the error message? Check the
specs for your video card. Check what are the minimal video
requirements for the game. The game is obviously newer and demands
better hardware. Until you get the minimum hardware required by the
game, it'll sit on the shelf collecting dust or just waste disk space.
The EA site is very crappy for getting information on their products,
and right now it is extremely slow. I did find system requirements
listed at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal_of_Honor:_Airborne. So,
do you have a video card that supports Shader version 3?
My old ATI Radeon X850 AGP only supports Shader 2.0b, so I can't play
any games that demand support for Shader v3, like BioShock. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_computer_games_that_require_Pixel_Shaders
for a list of some games and which pixel shader version is required.
Yours is too new to show up in this list but the system requirements
for the game say that Shader v3 is required. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_shader for a list of pixel shader
versions supported by various video chipsets. I built a new computer
for my aunt that has an ATI HD2900 video card and it supports Shader
v4 - but then she doesn't play those high-end games. For me, games
are not worth the cost to swap out my old video card and spend gobs on
minimal hardware acceleration or special features. There are still
games that my video card will play, plus I like paying lower prices
for the older games.
