Cannot access any of the metro apps

I have this same problem and cannot access any of the metro apps. I have the same problem on a desktop that I own. Most frustrating is that I cannot access the PC settings and cannot use any of my bluetooth devices on either machine.


Sony VAIO Flip 15in

Windows 8.1 Pro - all updates installed

Cloned SSD drive

Avast Antivirus

MalwareBytes

CCleaner



I have ran the apps.diagcab tool, ran sfc /scannow, ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, changed by Account Control Settings, always rebooted after each attempt.


Any suggestions?
