Can Surface RT do 24bit recording with an external ADC?

Hello,


I am thinking of buying an external ADC, to do 24bit / 96khz audio recording of my LPs, but wanted to check that the Surface RT can do 24bit recording. The excellent battery life on the RT, makes it great for LP conversion but with my current ADC there only seems to be the option of 16bit / 48khz recordings.
