can i have a dual boot on my sony vaio laptop?

IO have a sony vaio vgn-nw240f laptop. I have windows 8 64-bit currently installed . What I would like to do is make it a dual boot system. W5nd6ws 7 32 bit home premium oem the software that I would like to install. Am I going to have to do a clean install? I have 2 vaio recovery media disks for this computer.
