There is an error that comes up C:/PROGRAM~1/NEWDOT~1/NEWDOT~2.dll
I don't know what this means. Did I do something wrong? How do I fix it? :(
Thank you,
Susan

Don't quote me on this, but if I remember right, that is a spyware program folder. I am guessing you probably used a spyware remover program and it did not properly uninstall the program from the registry. And now that you have rebooted, it tries to reload itself.

USUALLY, you can goto ADD/REMOVE programs and find the suspect program, then click uninstall.

What the name of it is, is hard to say.

At a guess, its probably a program named to reflect some sort of COUPON or saving, or deal type thing in its name. Or perhaps, it says something about being an ADD ON or ENHANCEMENT.

newdot(insert #).dll can be tricky, because by itself, it is harmless under the right conditions.

The message YOU are seeing, is ANOTHER PROGRAM trying to access the .dll (dynamic link library) file so it may run. Since it can not find the .dll file, it can't load. Thus your spyware program may report it as gone, when in fact, it does remain.

My advice at THIS POINT would be to run Ad Aware SE on it again and see if it clears it out.

If not, come back and I'll guide you through an even harder, more complex way to figure it out.. but then again, if you understand how to navigate your machine, it should not be to complicated for you.
