Hi all

When I try and play a DVD movie using the Windows Media Player in my Vista
Ultimate 32bit, I instantly get the BSOD "A thread tried to release a
resource it didn't own" Stop: 0x000000E3 (0x8B7D2D00, 0x85558CF0, 0x00000003).

When I run Nero 8 and start the playback, it plays fine. I just need to be
able to playback using Media Player also.

Have you updated to the latest Video Drivers?

When I run the UPDATE in Media Player, I'm told it's running the latest
version of the program and all of it's components.

Right, he's talking about an update to the video card driver for your video
card. Given the data so far, that certainly seems like the buggy aspect
here. =\
