I'm having a real dilemma. I recently re installed Windows 7 64 bit and everything has ran pretty smoothly till now. I downloaded the massive amount of updates from Windows and then let it install. This is all before I rebooted. When the install was
at about 60%, I was kind of dumb and tried to install another program at the same time Windows was installing its updates. At that time is when I got a blue screen of death. The error message said a driver called nwifi.sys. So then when the computer booted
and configured the updates that had been installed so far, I started the Windows install again and I left it alone. I got another blue screen with the error message saying hdaudbus.sys. But when I booted and started to configure the updates, it said that
the update failed and it was reverting back. This is where I got the blue screen again saying the nwifi.sys error also. I have tried all the restore options but I have no back ups or anything of the type other than the install disc. I am able to boot in
safe mode. I'm thinking its some corrupt half installed file but I have no idea what to do. I kept trying to boot normally but I can't without getting the blue screen at the configuring updates part. It seems the error message randomly changes between the
nwifi.sys and the hdaudbus.sys. I have tried all the troubleshooters and I no restore options other than a clean install...again. I have no restore points either. Please help. Thank you.

If it helps at all
My computer is an Asus N61Jq - A1
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
ATI 5730 Graphics Engine with 1GB DDR3 Dedicated VRAM
Intel Core i7-720QM Processor 1.6GHz
4GB of DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM

P.S. I don't even have Windows 7 service pack 1
Another thing you should know is that most of the time I have limited internet access because I live overseas at a US Army installation in the Marshall Islands so I have to bring my laptop to the local snackbar to accses high
speed internet. I have only dial up at my house.

Thank you!
