Blue Screen Error restart screen - Windows 8

I have windows 8 and I keep getting a blue screen saying needs to restart and to search online for error SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.... What do I need to do to fix this problem... I have a Toshiba laptop and my windows update shows I have no updates.
