Hi,

I had my XP password as blank. The automatic updates were enabled. Two days
back the computer had just installed some updates, and asked for restarting,
which i did.
But then I was not able to login at the welcome screen. when i hit enter
without any password it gives the error "The program issued a command but the
command length is incorrect "

Has the blank password been reset due to Windows Update? how do I resolver
this?

Regards,
Aakash

meanwhile, i tried using F8 - > last known good configuration, but it didnt
work.

What updates were installed two days ago?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)?
