Looking for the best iPhone apps to help you better manage your investment portfolio while on the go? Whether you've already got a 401k and other types of holdings or you're just starting to think about investing, there are lots of App Store apps that can do everything from offer advice to tracking your positions live. No matter what your investment needs are, there's something for everyone. These are currently the best personal investment apps available for iPhone that can help you invest smarter and manage all your assets on the go!

Acorns

Acorns is a brand new investment service that's geared towards younger generations that may not feel comfortable with big brokerages or have a lot to invest up front. Link your credit and debit accounts and Acorns can "round up" each purchase to the nearest dollar. The roundup amount is then split among six different funds and invested for you. Think of it as a way to save your virtual spare change, but better since you're investing it and earning money on it. You can choose how aggressive you'd like to be and have the ability to deposit and withdraw money whenever you'd like. The fees Acorns charges are also substantially lower than what any traditional brokerage would charge.

If you are just getting started with investing and have longer term savings goals, Acorns is a great way to make money on what would be spare change.

Shares 2

Shares 2 is a dead simple way to see what your position is without forking over personal information and without having to weed through pages of brokerage reports. Just tell Shares 2 what your investments are and what you paid for them. Shares 2 will then take care of the rest and automatically calculate your gains and losses given current market conditions. If you have investments in multiple countries, Shares 2 can even give you your position in whatever currency you'd like.

For a quick and dirty snapshot of your current position without having to link any brokerage accounts, Shares 2 is a must have.

Scutify

Scutify takes an interesting approach to personal investment advice by offering up what others have to say across social media. Follow your favorite stocks and see what others are saying and how they're handling their investments. Not only does Stutify filter in other investors, but information about companies from reputable and accredited bloggers and news sites as well. Scutify also has a group of regular investors that offer up advice and commentary on a regular basis.

SigFig Investing

SigFig Investing is an easy to use personal investment app that ties into all your existing investment accounts. Once you've linked them up, SigFig can easily show you where you stand as well as show you breaking industry news that pertains to your investments. Tap on any stock in order to view charts on performance, allocation, risk, and more. SigFig Investing supports over 100 different brokerages across the United States which makes it a great all-in-one solution for many folks.

If you're looking for an all-in-one solution to managing your brokerage accounts, look no further than SigFig Investing.

StockTouch

StockTouch may not be a personal investment app that manages portfolios but it's one of my favorite ways to monitor and watch stocks, thanks to its unique and beautifully color coded interface. As long as the market is open, StockTouch will update every 5 minutes so you know you're getting the latest information available. Create your own heat maps and customize views so you are served up the stock information you care about most. StockTouch offers access to 9 industry sectors and thousands of companies worldwide.

If you want a seamless and meaningful way to monitor the stocks you care about most, look no further than StockTouch.

Stock Guru Pro

When it comes to personal investment advice, Stock Guru is one of my go-to apps on both iPhone and iPad. With tons of meaningful and unbiased data on thousands of companies including risk, valuation, financial strength, and momentum, the main purpose of Stock Guru Pro is to help you make wise investment decisions. Other types of in-depth information that Stock Guru Pro offers includes Sharpe ratios, risk volatility, risk-return charts, and much more.

For anyone who is heavy into trading, the charts, graphs, and financial data that Stock Guru Pro offers are second to none.
