Hi,
What does everyone recommend for perfmon, benchmarks, db monitoring, and
server alerting for down issues?

I like sitescope but it isn't in the budget. I heard what's up gold is
decent, but sitescope is much better.
We have MOM now but it isn't giving us what we need/want and we want a
product that will hit unix/linux as well.
How about getting stats on servers that seem to start crawling a specific
time of day? I can't tell if it is the server memory or the application?
Some apps are oracle db's, some are sql db's? What is the best approach?
Would a product like Sandra Software http://www.sisoftware.net/ help out?
