First of all I was getting bad pool caller error
That stopped and the pc (HP Pavillion DM! Windows 8 64 bit) then started to restart itself in the start-up sequence every time and come up with a 'I had to restart so I want to send Microsoft a message' strip across the middle of the screen every time
Now it just doesn't start - goes to black screen - so I re-start it using the on/off button and it seems to be OK
