Meanwhile I have approx 50-60 shortcuts in my Quick Launch Bar.

Is it possible to backup/store all these links into a file (and to restore them later from this file) ?

Marcus

Yes.. They are held in this folder: (cut and paste into the Start-Run
box)

%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick
Launch

Good idea! Click Start / Search, then search for folders on
drive C: with the word "Quick" inside. You will quickly find
the location of the "Quick Launch" folder.

My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > "View" Tab > Check "Show Hidden Files
and Folders"

Save this Folder for your Quick Launch

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

Others have already answered your question, but I'll just add a
comment. The purpose of the Quick Launch Bar is to provide quick
access to those programs you use most often. If you have as many as
50-60 programs there, it is likely very time-consuming to find the one
you want. My guess is that in your case, it's really a Slow Launch
Bar.

I recommend that you consider dramatically reducing the number of QL
shortcuts, and put the others elsewhere.
