Dear Friends,

I am about to re-install WindowsXP and am backing up all important files.
However, I cannot figure out where Favorites are so that I can include them
in my backups.

Thanks for your help

Hi Cary,

Typically C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Favorites. You can also
export them from IE as a file.

HTH Tony.

Use the import/export option under "file" in IE. Export as bookmark.htm
(default) to the location of your choice.
The default location is not appropriate for backup.
