Background Intelligent Transfer is not there?

I just found it by running services.msc... Background Intelligent
Transfer Service(BITS) aint there. How can I see if its there or not?

If you found it by running services.msc .........then its there!!!!!!!!!!!
wether its started or not only you can see the line and what does it say???
