Hey guys, the wimax wireless driver on asus site does not work:

Did you install the chipset for this notebook, Mike?

Yes Cindy, as normal procedure I always install the chipset driver first and restart. The driver identifier process led me to install the "Intel Centrino wireless-N 6150 driver, I tried a few from that page but it doesn't install. I am wondering if the wireless card in this laptop may be shot since the HDD was damaged too?

It doesn't look as if you have the correct chipset installed, Mike.

I had installed the only chipset showing on the Asus page, I am not understanding why that would be the wrong one?

Oh, just one more issue, the media buttons on the keyboard are not working after the win7 reinstall, any ideas please?

It looks as if you need the ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities, Mike.

You'll find it under the Utilities tab.
