Asus Laptop fails to install updatres repeatedly

Have wasted my money.....


Bought a brand new Asus Laptop i7 transforming laptop, and it came with windows 8 installed. I have been trying for the ast week to get it to install udates and they continually fail..

Brand new with Windows 8? Are you certain you don't mean Windows 8.1? How2 many updates are you trying at once? Are you going into Control panel, Windows Updates and selecting what you want? I hope yse and if the ones you need are over 100, try a smaller quantity.
