I have encountered this morning an error message when I right click my hard
drive and try open or explore I get the error message application cannot run
in win32 mode. How do I get XP home back to default win mode? So I can get
this vital functionality back

Go to Start/Run and type :

reg.exe add "HKCR\Drive\shell" /ve /d "none" /f

then type:

regsvr32 shell32.dll

Hi Mark,

I am in great need of your help the following message:

< The C:\ application cannot be run in Win32 mode >

I have tried using the two commands that you recommended, but it does not
work. I cannot access my C-drive by clicking on the icon.

I am running Windows XP Pro
