App design walks the line between art and fashion, not unlike pop music

One year rich, skeuomorphic textures are all the rage, the next, flat designs and naked buttons. So are apps art or are they fashion? Are the made to stand the test of time to keep time with the latest trends? Or, like pop music, could they be both? My friend and frequent collaborator, Dave Wiskus has begun a new video series examining design and what it means in our daily lives.
