Dell Inspiron E1505. The guy is having some trouble with the onboard KB so he attached an external but sometimes some keys on the internal are working without him pressing them so he's looking for a way to disable it without having to open the laptop. I tried having him disable the PS2 KB in the device manager but when he restarted it the kb self installed again, any idea please since I can't find anything on the net?
Any way to disable keyboard on laptop?

The only way that I know of to disable it other than disconnecting the keyboard cable, is by uninstalling the driver for it.
It's only going to work until you reboot it and you'll have to do it all over gain.

After uninstalling the keyboard driver, what happens with the external USB keyboard, does it still work, or does the computer then install a driver for it which also returns the laptop keyboard as well? Just curious is all.
