Kaspersky found win32.huhk.c had infected my explorer.exe, and various
other files, and I clicked to delete, but I didnt actually think it
would delete my explorer file, but it did, and now when the computer
starts, I have to hit ctrl+alt+delete to get the task manager to run
anything because there is no desktop showing, and I cannot right click
on the desktop. I tried some file recovery software, spyware software,
and nothing has worked sofar. I cannot find my XP cd, and I have SP2
installed, which I am downloading now again. Someone please help!

What happen while you are on the task Manager, click File >> Point to New
then type in the Box: explorer.exe and click [OK], does it help?.
You may need to look in the Anti-virus Application Quarantine Folder for
the File/folder to Restore or Cure then restore to the system.
Also try to scan for malware.

I just checked their web and they have the updates today which probably
fixes the problem. Use start>run and paste this
http://www.kaspersky.com/avupdates.

I don't understand why the windows file protection did not recreate
explorer.exe oncw it was missing?
Run the system file checker and see if this helps.

I Believe if you want to do that, try to Restore to the Infected Point, then
run the scan and select Cure or move to the chest/Virus Fault.
Also you can use other scanners and Malware utilities to disinfect it or
contact Kaspersky for more help about and I'm sure they will be happy to help.

What version of XP do you have, Home, Pro? I can try sending you a copy of
my fine in an email, if I can also get a valid email address... I have PRO
SP2. I won't guarantee that it will work, but I think it's worth a try...
