Trojan detector. This is in addition to the updates that came out last

I have the latest version also and ther shouldn't really be a difference
between OS's, should there? What is the date for you announced update?

Alias, there is a fix on the Spybot forum that takes care of the slow
startup. Works fine on my XP. But I guess you can wait until they issue
a new exe file.

Alias, are you referring to the painfully slow opening of the app?? That
is what I am noticing....actual running seems to be about the same, it just
seems to take an inordinate amount of time to open. Like you, I will
tolerate the slow down instead of resorting to the Beta version.
Heirloom, old and passing on the Beta.

german', probably because it was created in that language, or the link had
something to do with it.

Heirloom & Alias, FYI:

Using Delboy's link for the beta version of Spybot, I downloaded and
installed it over top of ver.1.5. When I tried to update, I received an
application error (probably because of my WinME) and immediately uninstalled
it and reinstalled the 1.5 version (also over top of the beta). The
endresult was, that the loading time was reduced to merely a few seconds
instead of 3 minutes, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Everything is working just fine with no negative impact of any kind.
Current immunizations in ME: 45713.
My comment: Spybot never looked so good.
