An old drive on a new computer

I had an old computer running XP and it stopped working so I removed the hard drive and added it to my second computer. I need to access my old work files from the old hard drive but under 'Documents and Settings/Owner' I get an error saying "E:\Documents and Settings/Owner is not accessible. Access is denied" I beleive this is because my Owner profile was password protected. Since I don't have access to my old computer anymore, how would I bypass this error to access my documents on Owner?
