All folders in my computer has become write protected.

Hi, I have a Dell Studio 15 laptop with Windows 7 Premium pre-installed. After the recent update (of which restore point was not created), my computer has 'write protected' every folder! This is freaking me out. Opening 'properties' shows read only attribute filled blue (Actually it's not checked. Have a look at the image).I tried to modify it through properties, it doesn't change, no matter how many times I try.

Some Problems I face:-
* Folders can be copied to pen drive but not from it.
* After copying even pen drive became Write protected.(Now I even can't format it. It says 'The disk is write protected')

What I tried:
* Tried diskpart and similar cmd methods which are mentioned over web.

* Tried to take ownership and also tried sharing.* Tried scanning my whole computer for unwanted files.
* Cleaned registry with Ccleaner.


While searching web I came across this answer:

"Folders are not read-only. The read-only attribute does not apply to folders. Ignore the read-only box. It has no meaning for folders."

Even if it has no meaning for folders, it can do all the harm. :-D


Please suggest a solution.
