Airmail 2.0 is a new email app for Mac that offers a number of improvements and enhancements over the original app. It features a new design for OS X Yosemite, along with new features like an extension and widget. Despite this, it requires only OS X 10.8 or later.

There are a number of useful and powerful new features in Airmail 2.0. The app has a share extension, allowing you to email something from Safari or another share-enabled app using Airmail instead of Apple Mail. You can share accounts, set a default quick reply, and more. There's also a Today widget for Yosemite's Notification Center. The widget gives you access to your Inbox, To Do list, and Memos without needing to open the app.

There are other behind-the-scenes improvements. Overall performance has been improved, including the offline experience, loading, and search. Airmail now supports Google OAuth. A new draft engine has also been built.

Airmail 2.0 is a new app, and is available for purchase on the Mac App Store. The normal price is $19.99, but it is available at a special launch price of $9.99 for a limited time.
