I was wonder what is the best configuration under Performance
Options-Advanced for Processor Scheduling and Memory Usage.

Our terminal server is used to host a single application that has database
connectivity.

Thanks!

Q: Should I configure the server to optimize for applications or
background processes?

A: Use the default settings, which are to optimize the Terminal
Server for applications, not for background processes. Running
users' application is its main task, after all.

The only reason to optimize for background processes would be if
the server also runs Exchange or SQL Server. But that's not a good
idea in the first place.

Thank you.

What about the "Memory Usage" option?

The same. Default = optimize for applications.
