Running Xp sp2, p4 2.8ghz, 1024mb ram, Nvidia Gforce fx 5200 128mb, IE7

When I try to run Adobe Photoshop Elements organiser, the organiser shuts
down.
I managed to get this info out of a report file the program generated when
it closed down. Content of which folows:

//=====================================================
Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION

The reason for posting here is that there is nothing at adobe about this,
and the only referances to mshtml.dll I find at microsoft are relating to IE.
If someone knows what is going on here I would be very greatfull. It
currently means I can only use the editor and not the organiser.

Adobe never was that good at Windows. You could change default browser to
firefox or Netscape and probably get it to work.

RE: Access violation in MSHTML.DLL when open Photoshop Elements or

As the lisence for PS Elements allows for it to be installed on 1 laptop and
1 desktop as long as you are not running both copies at the same time, I have
just installed it on my laptop and it runs on the laptop ok.

Both the laptop and desktop are running windows XP with Service pack 2 and
Internet Explorer 7. The PS Elements Organiser runs on the laptop but not
the desktop. Both machines have the same version number for mshtml.dll.
Both are up to date with regards Windows Update.
