Hi, I've been thinking about something that could identify us among the professionals out there. For example, when you see a person with a lab coat and stethoscope you think of a Doctor. Or when you see someone with a toga you think of a judge/lawyer. These are respectable people among society and I think we deserve the same respect they do or maybe more because we are the future. But we don't, people still see us as punks and just people who play games and chat unknowingly that they depend and will even more on us in the future.
So, maybe this is a simple question compared to this previous and somewhat philosophical statement: What can we do to be identified as an important part of society??? Wear togas? Lab coats? Our head-phones??
It's not about recognition, I know most of us don't even want or need that but, we need respect. Can we accomplish this? Can people see us as individuals that they need?? How do we show it to them??
