I have a P4 2.66 with an 80 gb Hd and then i installed a second 80 gb samsung on an ide cable .. Was wondering why the capacity on slave drive "F" is only 31.4 gb .. I have tried moving jumpers around and even tried without jumpers and still reads the same 31.4 .. I'm not sure if its something that i done wrong or if windows only supports 31 gb ?
Formatting the drive "F" did not help as i tried that approach ..
I do know that if i put this same 80 gb drive in an external case that it read full 80 gb ...I do not want to use a case for my HD if i can help it .. Thx for any help on this ...
