hey all,
i want to add a 2nd video card to my desktop to support my 3rd or 4th
monitors depending on the type of video card i get. i want to ask are there
any caveats to watch out for. for instance, do i need to be concerned if i
have a big enough power supply, etc?

thanks,
rodchar

PCI-E or what type of slot?
Many earlier mobos and cards didnt take kindly to adding another, some would
work whilst others could'nt get the same combo to work
Pwr supply depends on the type of card, amongst other things
Matrox have a number of solutions, as long maybe, its not for gaming

Video cards can range from maybe 20 watts to about 165 watts.
A video card that has a power connector on the end, would likely
draw more power, than a video card that does not.

There are some multi monitor setups shown on this site.
So you can get some idea as to what is possible. The
gallery entries mention the cards used.
