Apple has now pulled the trigger on sales of the new 16GB iPod touch outside the United States, with the iOS device now available to purchase worldwide via the company's online stores.
We already reported earlier today of the 16GB iPod touch's availability in the UK, but the product can also be purchased on Apple's Canada store for $219, with the 32GB and 64GB versions now on sale for $269 and $319, respectively. Over in Germany, the 16GB version is on sale for 199 euros, with the 32GB version priced at 249 euros and the 64GB model priced at 299 euros.
Apple updated the 16GB iPod touch last week, adding a 5 megapixel iSight camera and more color options, just like its 32GB and 64GB versions.
