Hi My name is Steve and I'm an electronics engineer who now spends most of his time writing test software for an EMC testing lab. I found my way here from ExVBF, and I'm sure that this forum will be as good and as useful as that one is. I have to deal with a variety of PCs and laptops, of various vintages. I'm pretty sure that most people don't consider tech support until disaster occurs, so I'm hoping to learn stuff here that will make those occurances less frequent!
