  1. Debian was a snap to set up for me, and it has given me far less problems than Mandrake ever did. I'd recommend it.
  2. I certainly like it. :) With a bit of tweaking it will be an excellent style. I also like the new front page engine. Must more streamlined than vNews.

Since it came out I've spent roughly 13 hours playing it online. I can't wait til the full comes out. ONS-Torlan (onslaught map) is becoming a bit repetetive, though it's still loads of fun.
  4. Since the Gamma release of vBulletin 3, the user information has been displayed along the top of all the posts in threads, and many people don't seem to like this, and are used to the older left-side-info style. As such, I've added a new option. Click the "Edit Options" link on the left side bar (if you're logged in) and you can now choose your thread viewing style. Let me know if you find anything wrong.
  5. I'm Simon, 16, from Southern Ontario, Canada. Currently I'm in 11th grade. I'm taking all the computer courses I can, but unfortunately, many of them have been dropped due to lack of interest. Luckily I got into a computer engineering class this year. My comp right now consists of: AOpen AK75 Motherboard AMD Athlon 1800+ Processor 512MB of DDR 233 80GB HDD and 40GB HDD 16x/48x DVD/CD-ROM Primary display: GeForce 3 Ti200 Video Card / 19" TTX Flat Screen Monitor Secondary display: S3 ViRGE DX / 17" KDS Flat Screen Monitor
  6. Funny how it doesn't even exist anymore. :p Unless you count the far more serious (and rare) STOP messages as BSODs.
  7. Any updates on this, Bob?
  8. It was probably spiders. 127 people generally don't suddenly appear and then go away, none of them registering. :p
  9. We need one that integrates with vBulletin. We're looking at possible NePHP: http://nelogic.com/?m=show&id=34.
  10. It might in the future. We're still in the process of getting the front page set up, and we may switch do a different CMS soon. The current one isn't really working out.
  11. Despite his melodrama and "horror story" sort of story-telling method, the stuff he talks about is all true. Everyone should give the site at least one read.

I think I fixed it. I found an option in the admin cp for changing the startup category, and it seems it's fixed.
  13. Try creating a user on your second install called Andrew with the same password and logging in as it.
  14. Sounds good to me. I'll wait to see what Bob thinks.
  15. Generally there is some sort of poster or manual that comes with the motherboard, since every one is different. For example, if your motherboard has a zero insertion-force (zif) processor socket, there is usually a little lever to lock the processor in. I suggest you look on the manufacturer's website, as they usually have PDF versions of documentation.
