  1. Thanks. I have another question. I've installed a printer and want to share it with other pc's on my network. I get this message......Attached file: Untitled1242337590.jpg (54 KB)
  2. I have installed Server 2008 web x64 on my PC and intend using it as a workstation. I'd like to know how to do a couple of things.. 1. I'm not worried about login security. How can I automate/disable the login process. 2. No serving will be done, I will be browsing, gaming, burning, word-processing, ripping and torrenting. Is there a comprehensive list of services I can turn-off?
  3. I installed Windows Server 2008 Web edition (64bit). I installed Skype. All my online contacts remain blanked-out yet my telephone contacts are green and good to go. I installed Network Magic. When I start it the 'platform service' continually crashes. The Network Magic site says it's compatible with Server 2008. UTorrent. I installed Utorrent but I get this message http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/Untitled1242162087.jpg when I try to open the torrent. If anyone has experienced these programs I'd appreciate some help.
  4. I've just installed Windows Server 2008 as my workstation. I installed the latest stable uTorrent. When I went to download a torrent I get this message Attached file: Untitled1242162087.jpg (14 KB) I have tried googling a solution but no one offers a solution I can understand. I didn't come across anything that says it utorrent can't be used on Server 2008. I think it might have something to do with permissions.
