  1. I'm looking at pushing installs down to the clients thru the server 2008. Novel uses Zenworks and Symantec has its own also. Just haven't figure how send something thru server 2008. I have a script that I want to push to all machine and also a software program. Theres got to be an easy way to link the set-up to and run right ? I already tried creating a GPO and using application laucher and selected some clients but that didn't work. Thanks in advance for any assistance given.
  2. When I publish a HTML page the menu and any flash objects aren't being seen. I have lower all the security settings and enabled everything I could think of. This was never a problem before the service pack 2 for IE. This is on my Web Server with 2008 RC2.
  3. I'm trying to edit a user's profile and copy it over as the default in Server 2008 rc2. So when they log in to my Thin Clients machines it will carry over. Currently the administrative tools are being displayed in the start command, Everything else can be restricted thru GPO. These thin cleints are embedded with XP and I'm using Remote Desktop to log in to the server. When I try to copy a user as the default as done in the past. The only user it will allow me to copy as the default is the administrators. So I'm looking for a profile on my Terminal Server that will push down to my thin clients with my restrictions. Thanks in advance for any assistance...
  4. As usual it was an easy fix and something I was over looking. Under the TS Config the audio mapping was disable by default. Here is the way to get audio. http://www.visualwin.com/Audio-Mapping/
  5. I am using a 64 bit server 2008 remote desktop and when remoted in the audio will say no audio output device is installed. In the Device manager it shows the SB audigy 4 working fine with the most up-dated drivers. Plays audio fine on the server and the bring sound to computer is checked in remoteapp. I have a DC a TS and a WEB server. I have various interactive lessons and web pages to be used while logged in the network. Just can't fige out bringing the sound across. Everything else is streaming perfectly. Thanks in advance for a help...
  6. I up-graded my 2003 server and the OS to Server 2008 and need to move my users and groups to the new machine. Also, is there a way to see when a user last logged in to the network so I can delete the in-active users. Thanks in advance for any assistance..
