I don't know what you mean by that. If you had it in your taskbar it will remain there. If it is being hidden then you can unhide it by right clicking the taskbar and selecting properties.

Over the past weekend, a number of Hotmail users reported that their Hotmail messages in various folders were gone. Microsoft officials said on January 3 that the company had identified the cause of the problem and fixed it. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this outage, however. View the full article

There is no way to do this. This would need to be done on the network side at the router or switch. -
Fixit will not harm anything. I would try all steps and see if that fixes the problem.

You won't have any problems. We run RDP on our DC and have for a couple years now and haven't had any problems yet.
