Hello everyone we pushed out office 2010 to our computers and we had a couple computers install 2010 to C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office 11Office14 instead of here C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice14 We had 2003. Why have a couple computers installed to 11 instead of the 14 folder? Should I be concerned? and How could I fix this? Im worried about future updates. View this thread

12 people are using OneNote 2010 on a network. These 12 people have 1 shared, main, departmental notebook but also, each has his/her own personal, notebook. If someone adds a new page to the main, shared department notebook, how do the other people know that something new was added and where it was added? Is there some way for people to get a notification at the bottom of their screen "OneNote has updated Notebook A - Section 4 - added new page" "Click here to view this update"? Otherwise, this is double the work. And e-mail notification has to be sent out letting everyone know there was a OneNote update? And then from the e-mail, users must figure out where the update is in OneNote? The entire point is that we don't want to send out the e-mails to begin with. So how could we do this? I have installed the MS Anti virus package on my XP and Server 2003 systems am very happy with it one year on. I am doing some work on some old legacy equipment and wanted to run Windows 2000 on them with the anti virus package but on install I am getting a message saying "epplauncher.exe is not a valid Win32 program" My machine for the 2k o/s is a Compaq EN 733 Pentium 3 128mb Ram which is not happy running XP. It was slow in the early days but after umpteen years of "updates" has slowed to an intolerable pace. In contrast it runs 2k at a very respectable pace for the programs I use on it. Is there is an alternative version as it may just be the launcher program that is the problem? Regards Martin View this thread

Hello, I have a problem in Outlook 2010 the reading pane is working but the options are completely greyed out. The option I am referring to are in Options - Mail - Reading Pane. The whole box is greyed out and disabled and I cannot find a GPO that enabled these settings. Is there something that could do this that I am missing? View this thread

I have often heard that using an optional cleaner program such as Advanced system Care or system Care Pro would cause problems with your primary security program. I have Microsoft Security Essentials currently and have had NO major issues so far but in reading the forums about optional programs it seems that sometimes these individual programs cause other issues with your primary security programs. I just want to be sure I am not installing anything that would not be covered by MSE. According to some of the information contained in these optional programs they tell you that you really need the avanced programs to really catch the bad stuff that comes through when you are searching the Web for information. I can't copy and paste formatted text within the same or between Word and Excel documents and import from internet web pages, BUT AFTER THAT INTERNET has been activated (called-on) I read the comments of Skype interference, and that re-sactiavted the double click on call function (whih was off anyway), re-started the PC, and the copy/paste worked perfectly AS LONG as I did not call internet. After that I called internet, such copy paste did no longer work and only an unformatted text was pasted within word or between word & excell or importing webb portions from internet. Therefore it seems that internet caused the interference, I ignore where. This started several days ago, without understanding of wht and how. CAN YOU HELP??? View this thread

Original title : Reformat? I thought I should REFORMAT my hard drive after viruses took over my computer. The original disk had no provision for that. It installed a nother copy of Vista but saved the old informaion too. I manually deleted Windows.old, because I didn't want to keep all those viruses on my computer. Now I can't update Windows.
