Here is what I did it's kind of complicated... I rebuilt a user profile to see if it would fix an issue they were having... 1) Logged in as admin renamed user's profile xxxx.old, removed associated profile reg key, rebooted. 2) Logged in as user to create a new profile 3) copied favorites from xxxx.old profile so I could use a link. Issue still persisted so i wanted to revert back to the original profile. 4) Reboot, log in as admin, deleted new profile folder (regretting this), took off the ".old" from the original profile, rebooted. 5) Logged in as user, all data is there except the Favorites. They are gone. It seems like I 'moved' the favorites instead of copying them, although I remember copying. Is there anyway to get the favorites back even though I deleted the profile folder where they might have been residing? View the thread

I can run a "full" scan, and the next day when I boot up my computer, I get the same message: You haven't run a scan on your PC for a while. This could put your PC at risk. I am currently making a time sheet in excel 2010. I found a format that was on the internet and is set up as date, log in, lunch out, lunch in, log out, regular hours, overtime hours. I have a IF statement in regular hours and overtime hours which for regular hours will only go up to 8 hours. Anything in excess of 8 hours is put into overtime hours. I would like to have the time rounded in the log in through log out columns to nearest 15 minutes by a factor of 8 minutes. However I cannot make two forumlas in same cell (have tried parenthases and commas and havent been able to work it out). For example if the tieme is 6:40 id like it to be 6:45. If time is 6:37 id like it to go down to 6:30 and so on. View this thread

I had an excel file. when I select prepare->properties. it will pop up document properties dialog. I found the document properties had been locked, I can not edit. at the same time. Replaced bad Seagate Barracuda 750 GB hard drive with a new Western Digital 1 TB drive in eMachines ET1331G-03w. Used 3 DVD Recovery set for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit made when computer was new. All 3 DVDs downloaded and when instructed, restarted computer, but it has been hanging for hours on "Setup is applying system settings" and the graphic under the words continues to move. I have Windows 7 Pro and have installed XP Mode. I have run the XP Mode many times. Suddenly, when I try to open the XP Mode I am told that "Mode could not be restored because of host processor or lack of hardware ast."
