Ever day or two windows installer disappers from my computer, I can reinstall it but in a few days it is gone again ,WHY. View this thread

Windows 7 Hi! I need to upgrade my computers to Windows 7. I have 4. All are running Windows XP. 2 Home Edition, and 2 Professional. 2 are desktops and 2 are laptops. The Home Edition and Pro are on 1 each. I have several questions: 1. Where do I look to find out if a computer is 32-bit or 64-bit? 2. Do I need Pro to run on a network? All my computers are networked. 3. Does Pro really run older XP software in "XP Mode"? Some of my programs are older Adobe graphics programs, Word & Excel 2007, and AutoCAD 2005. Many more. 4. Getting this error code now after Windows INSISTED I must install the latest download manager service. Also MSE will no longer check for updates as it reports an internet connection issue! There is no issue with the connection. Is it any wonder people go over to Mac computers when these problems with windows persistently arise! I am going to do a clean install with my windows Visa but first I was told to format my hard drive. Is that where you go to Computer Management >> Disk Management but then I have no idea what to do? It says Disk 0, then Compaq and Recovery. lol. View this thread
