I am in Spain. My computer has crashed. I dont have a recovery disc. I am Swedish and I wish to buy, download from the internet, a new Windows 7 program in Swedish. Hi Community, I would like to delete Window.old, which is Windows Vista created with the installation of Windows 7. When I attempt to delete the file, a dialog box pops up and states that "I need permission from the SYSTEM to take the action requested." How can I delete this file from the hard drive? I have been given a Acer Veriton Desktop Tower to practice repair and update work on a Tower. I wish to upgrade memory RAM, add upgraded and larger memory Hard Drive and change Windows from XP to Windows 7. Also I need to add new network connection changing from LAN to WAN via wireless. I have a users account password and have started my planned changes by trying to add a network connection for Email and Web connections. The system is telling me I need an administration password to start this change. What are my options ? Would be prepared to wipe hard drive clean and start by adding windows 7. Is this a realistic option for I understand this would mean setting a new admin password for windows 7? Regards Mike View this thread

Doesn't (x86) stand for 32-bit and (x64) stand for 64-bit versions of programs? AND, 4. Neither "Windows PowerShell ISE" program's "Help" menu has an "About" item. SO, 5.
