Original Title: professional During an attemp to upgrade my window xp with window 8 my system crashed and during the rebooting I used my window XP disk. Now when I start up the system it stall asking for a selection of office or professional. Automatically goes into the office version but I dont have files there. All of my files are in the Window XP professional operating system. How can I remove the second operating system that was placed by mistake? View this thread

Every day when i get on my computer i click on "update" for the newest definitions and the green bar will fill up and its says"updated", but at the top it says it couldn't "compete the latest definitions for virus and spyware due to a internet connectivity problem or connection". But I have not internet problems and no connectivity issues. It then just tells me my computer is protected though. Should i worry about this? View this thread

encounter a problem that it does not deposit a copy into the "send folder". besides using the 3rd party utility, is there a quick fix from microsoft to rebuild the 'send folder' as the instructions given seems to be fairly technical and long? also under tools>options>advance.maintenance, what does the number means? shall we adjust it higher or lower if we encounter the problem that it does not deposit a copy in the "send folder"? many thanks for your help View this thread

This particular error has become a nightmare for me. I have been struggling with almost a week now. I am trying to copy file from my hard disk to my new laptop (windows 7, dell 14z). Few files are throwing error, you will need administrator permission to copy this file, despite i logged in as administrator. Alt + F4 and Ctrl + F4 won't work - Windows 7 Normally: Alt + F4 closes program Ctrl + F4 closes file (or TAB in Internet Explorer) both stopped functioning on 12/06/2012 - no new software installed, no other known issues.
