Running XP Pro sp3 32 bit system. MSE stops on C:WINDOWSSystem 32colorprnt.icm every time. I have removed NORTON, (Used thier removal) I also uninstalled Malwarebytes. Quick scan works fine, by schedule or starting it manually. I put the file name in the exclude list but still dosen't work. I have restarted the computer, uninstalled MSE and reinstalled it. Hi, I have an issue with a white rectangular box appearing in the top left corner of my laptop screen. It covers the icons behind it and renders them 'unclickable'. Nothing happens if the box itself is clicked on. It does not stay on top of other windows, just the desktop. It appears after the laptop has been to sleep and on occasions, just seems to appear randomly. I believe it may be a problem with Display Link drivers i use for a universal adapter for multiple monitors. I have asked around on display links forums but i am yet to find a solution (updated all drivers, uninstalled, re-installed, etc.), so i thought I would ask you guys if you have any ideas. any help would be appreciated. I'm using Windows 7 with a new Dell Inspiron laptop. I use Chrome (or Internet Explorer) as my browser, I use WOW! for internet and email. I want to email a copy of a check from my secure bank website to someone for proof of payment. How can I do this? I tried copying the URL into the body of the email. on laptop-i restored it back to a month ago, then i updated all from Microsoft &amp Norton, then ran a Norton program that checks for malware and requires a computer restart. After it finished, my results showed it got rid of platypus.dll, but doesn't do anything now. the only thing i can do is move my mouse and shut down computer. Any ideas?...Windows 7 View this thread

Depuis plus d'un mois j'ai des problèmes avec mon imprimante elle se retrouve dans les périphériques non spécifié. J'ai rejoint un technicien de microsoft nous avons travailler sur ce problème pendant 4 jours sans trouver de solutions, mon ordi est une bombe processeur I7 ect... Mais imaginez un ordi qui fonctionne très bien sans pouvoir imprimer. La seule solution c'est de désinstaller le service pack 1 et mon imprimante fonctionne pendant quelques jours sans problème, quand toutes les mises à jours ce sont installées, je ne peux plus me servir de mon imprimante. J'utilise Windows 7 édition familiale premium, je ne veux pas installer windows 8 sans savoir si mon problème soit résolue. View this thread

I have tried using Microsoft Security Essentials (i had a full scan and it found the trojan hourse it then tried to remove it) but it ecountered an error andQuarentied it when i re-scan it still shows in the scan.
