Bonjour,Ce message s'affiche toujours lorsque je veux lire l'une de mes videos.De plus, je ne peux plus regarder de film avec le lecteur de Canal Play.D'autre part, en utilisant la caméra avec Skype, l'autre personne me voit mais je ne peux la voir.Je me dis qu'il doit y avoir un point commun à ces trois situations-problème, mais lequel ?Si quelqu'un pouvait me dépanner, je lui en serais infiniment reconnaissante !!!A bientôt de vous lire, j'espère ! Hi all, I am a first time question asker and learning computers as I go, hardly understand much tech speak, so please go easy on me? A few days ago my security essentials scan detected a seedabutor trojan and I am wondering how to tell if it is totally gone. I have been browsing around this forum and have followed advice given to others. I have deleted temporary files, deleted java cache, and completely uninstalled java. I have run security essentials in safe mode, downloaded and run tdsskiller and Microsoft Safety Scanner in safe mode, and all say that nothing has been detected. I am not feeling satisfied though. I am feeling a bit scared as I had a worm virus shut down my computer and hack my bank accounts about 5 years ago, and I do not want to go through that again! HOW can I be sure that this thing was successfully removed and that it's not just hiding? Thank you in advance for any help. View this thread

Hi All, I am distributing Office via a start up batch file script. At the moment the installation files for 32bit and 64bit are in different places. Is there a way for me to write the batch file to check machine type and run the installation from the correct location? Or is there a better way to do this? Thanks very much Dave View this thread

I have a Windows 8 Pro x64. Before I am able to install updates. Now I received the said error. After, I checked for updates and noticed that it seemed to return to normal. But as I looked at the "View Update History", there were no updates installed and the Updated were installed: Never. I also checked the Programs and Features and saw the updates installed. Is it normal that the updates are not in the "View Update History" but are in the Programs and Features? I have a laptop with Windows 7 64bit Enterprise on one partition, and Windows 8 64bit Enterprise on the other. I installed 7 first, then 8. For a while the system prompted for Windows 7 or Windows 8 at boot up. Recently Windows 8 had some problems and wanted to repair itself by reinstalling. I inserted the system disk and told it to go ahead. It had whiped out the software that I had installed (Office 2013 and Visual Studio 2012), which was fine, becuase this was a fresh build with no data. After it repaired itself, it was no longer prompting for the dual boot, it was going straight to Windows 8. The Windows 7 partition is still there. It is called SYSTEM and does not have a drive letter assigned. How can I repair this using Windows utilities only? I do not want to download non-Microsoft utilities. View the full article

I am trying to install updates. When it starts configuring, I get to 15-25% (not sure exact %). The computer then goes into a light blue screen with the &quotcircle&quot continuing on the left side. I have a fancy HD lenovo all in one. The screen where the Windows flag flies in when you start up is flickery green and very unstable looking. I had similar problems with both the videos and desktop and photos all showing green instead of black. I fixed those by adjusting the contrast and brightness sliders (to ridiculous extremes, it must be said) but I can't find anywhere tomake similar adjustments for this opening screen.Any help - in lay-woman's terms please, would be much appreciated.
