I have changed the default skin used for the site. The old default had some issues when viewed with a mobile browser. Once I fix them I will make it the default again. If you use that skin as your default it is still available.

Howdy and welcome. Glad you found us.

If you have wrist or hand problems or arthritis like me it will be a God send. I've been using it all day to day and haven't had any pain and my scroll finger isn't locking up.

I was reading the reviews and it seems that it does work with Windows. Several users said they use it in Windows. Some on Windows 7 and some on Windows 8. If it works on them it should work on Windows 10 also. I'll test it out in my Windows 10 VM later today.

I just bought the trackpad/keyboard connector from your link.

Microsoft will have to make the drivers for it like they did for Microsoft mouse and keyboards. Although the MS drivers haven't been updated in a while and don't even work on El Capitan.

My wife bought me one these yesterday. I have to say I will never use a mouse again. This thing is amazing. It's taking me time to learn all the gestures, but, so far it makes things so much easier. 2 fingers up or down to scroll pages. 2 fingers right or left to go back or forward. 1 finger click. 1 finger hold to highlight text then release and right click menu pops up. That's only the tip of the iceberg. You can configure it to different things in different apps. Once I get my head around all the standard features I'll get into creating app specific. I have tried trackpads in the past and never could get used to them. Now I don't know how I got along without one. It's much easier on my wrist too.

This has started. So far these are done: PHP upgraded to PHP 7.0.2 also switched to 64bit version from 32bit version. Imagemagick updated to to 6.9.3 also 64bit version. Next up: MariaDB upgrade to 10.1.10 from 32bit to 64bit. ElasticSearch upgrade to 2.1.1 with 32bit to 64bit change. This is the tough one so I'm doing it last. Once these are down you should see a fairly big performance gain. That's if I don't break anything.

You're all set. Welcome to the team.

Thanks Cindy. For some reason I am not. Now I know it must be something on my end.

I upgraded the site email server a short time ago. In the process, nothing is as easy as it seems for me lately, I lost all the settings. To make sure that everything is working as it should could you make sure you're getting email from the site for PM's and subscribed threads? I think I restored everything correctly, but, I want to make sure.

This didn't go well. I have to do more to the server to make sure the new version works with the other software. I will be taking the server offline at various times during the evening hours over the course of the next 3 or 4 days to get everything upgraded.

They seem to be trying everything they can to get everyone on Windows 10. Most motherboard manufacturers will have a bios update to support the new processors. In tha past as long as the motherboard firmware supported the new CPU they would work in the OS. If Microsoft is adding code to detect new CPU's to force upgrades that's not good.

I still think Windows 7 is the best. I wouldn't have switched to OSX otherwise.

Servers rarely have sound cards. Maybe the dvd drive is bad. The restart problem is probably a setting in Windows and/or bios. Servers are set to restart instead of shutdown. This is a fail safe in case of power loss. If you are managing the server from a remote location and power cord is accidentally pulled you couldn't log in and would have to call the datacenter to plug it in. It's a rare occurrence, but, does happen. The fan spinning up high speed is also another feature of servers. All mine do the same thing. -

You can put one big drive in if you wish or 4 big drives. All that means is there is room for 4 drives. At the time the manual was written biggest was probably 1TB. -

It's a server, but, can be used as a workstation if you install Windows 7 on it. All servers can run any OS. Doesn't have to be a server version. If you want to upgrade the memory you need to use registered ECC memory. -
Site search will be unavailable this afternoon for a short period of time while I upgrade the search service and rebuild the indexes.

I upgraded to the newest version of xenforo. I also updated all the styles. If you run into any problems let me know.

Go in safe mode and disable the the network. Restart and see if the problem persists. If it happens when you start IE then start it and see if it reboots. You'll have no network so IE will only show the error about no network connection. Go through the steps to fix network issues from IE. It should enable the network. If after IE does it's thing try to access the internet. If it reboots then you have to look at the network card as the problem. In one of the errors it says it can't bind to an address because it is already in use. You could also try assigning an IP in network settings.
