  1. You're not the only one. I can deal with a dark theme for a short amount of time. Too long and the eyes tell me to switch to lighter styles.
  2. Nice looking work. Clean and tidy.
  3. Howdy Mike and welcome to the community.
  4. Hello and welcome. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
  5. I think it's great. It will only make Windows better.
  6. This is great. Years ago I created a program to extract the icons from an exe. I would never have thought about this.
  7. That's taking things to the next level. It's almost to the point that you just unplug and do everything local.
  8. Now that is scary. I hook up with my iPad and iPhone to many different networks through the course of the day.
  9. I have a late 2013 Mac Pro. It came with Mavericks. I upgraded to Yosemite and when El Cap was released upgraded to it. I didn't take to El Capitan so I used time machine to roll back to Yosemite. So if you have Time Machine on you can roll back without losing data. I could have taken it all the way back to Mavericks if I wanted to.
  10. I use touch ID also. I always thought a 4 digit pin would be easy to crack for a computer.
  11. Since you can never have too many SSD I ordered 2 of these.
  12. I've never heard of it. What was it?
  13. I've never got why bitcoin became so popular and even remained so after the big scandal a couple years ago. I know a person who spent at least 100K to build a bitcoin farm. He said he would make his money back plus. I never asked him what he made, but, all his servers that he built for mining are now sold.
  14. I've had some fun with hey Siri. As this gets popular I can see myself having some fun with it too.
  15. You only need the driver. I am not sure if you have to have the control panel to receive updates so you might want to keep it too.
  16. Great experiment. I always was one that believed each update slowed the system.
  17. Code 6 error is file system corruption. I would guess that the drive is about to fail. As far as Intel tools go I've never had good results with them. Had an obviously dead drive show as good and had a brand new drive show as bad.
  18. Goes to show that no OS is immune. What's troubling with this is a legitimate app was infected with the payload. This is getting to be a common occurrence. One would think that a developer would use tools to make sure that had secure passwords and secure log in info to the dev servers. A couple days ago a popular Wordpress plugin was compromised when the developers account was hacked. The plugin had a few thousand installs and anyone that updated to the newest version had a backdoor added to their site.
