Event Viewer reports failed file security audit
AWS replied to Kick's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
I find that event viewer can be rather chatty at times. I have see things like this before if you use custom view. Maybe try using the default view and remove any custom views. -
Animals before and after they were taken home.
AWS replied to DSTM's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
I have always had rescue dogs. I used to help out with a German Sheppard rescue a few years ago. I always enjoy seeing a scared half starved dog comes to life with a little love. -

Comcast had a major outage which affected the site. The site was down for about 6 hours due to the problems. We are back, but, according to the account rep there could be lingering issues throughout the next couple days. IN any case I apologize for any issues you have accessing the site.

So, Just Why Is 18atcskd2w Such a Popular Password?
AWS replied to allheart55 Cindy E's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
I had heard Tech Support Forum was hacked, although, until this I could never get confirmation. -
That's funny. You would think at least one employee would be observant enough to know the guy wasn't a co-worker.

Why I switched back to Firefox
AWS replied to allheart55 Cindy E's topic in Tech Help and Discussions
Firefox is finicky on OSX. For no apparent reason it lock up. It has other quirks like html5 videos will stop playing half way through. On rare occasions it crashes and freezes OSX and I have to do a forced reboot. It seems that Firefox is the only thing that crashes on me. I hang in there with it since Chrome just isn't for me and Safari while better then in the past still has a ways to go for me to use it. -

Indeed. Google is looking to hire passengers for those vehicles. $20 an hour. All you have to do is sit in the drivers seat and be ready to take control if the computer acts up. Doesn't seem like it would be too bad of a job. I know they are looking in Chicago and other parts of the Midwest.

Like Frank I try to persuade the users to let me have the computer a few more hours. Most of the time they agree.

I have. It's lightweight and for what I listen to it's great.

It was upgrade day today. I have upgraded the Resource section and search software. Everything should run smooth, but, if you notice anything broken let me know.

I just finished upgrading all the computer and laptops at work to Windows 10. I was going to stay with Windows 7 at first. I had some software that was a little quirky on Windows 10 and figured I'd stay on Windows 7. I upgraded my laptop a couple months ago to Windows 10 and have figured out what the problem was with the software and how to fix it. I decided it was cost effective to upgrade to Windows 10 which is supposed to follow the Apple plan which is free upgrades. If I stayed with Windows 10 I'd have to eventually buy licenses for it. Might as well milk the cow for free while we can.

With the info from Dougie and Frank I should have the problem fixed. There is a bug in one of the functions of the new skin. You might have do a hard refresh to load the new JS files. -

I am seeing no problems on the servers. No errors and everything is green. Can you post a traceroute to the site? It might be something upstream causing problems.
